Poem to Calpurnia

You are an outstanding helper,

made father’s burden lighter and lighter,  

     

did the heavy things without holler.

You are a serious teacher,

taught Jem and I the right behavior,

let us became better and better.

You are a friendly mother,

treated us like your own children,

made us feel the warmth of love.
